Itangecha

single screen, digital, black & white, work in progress

Performance by Gordon Slater

Itangecha became a mirror to my practice. Four years and counting, this work started as a series of meet-ups between Gordon and myself. We would discuss about life, death, migration and coffee.

The idea was to find a place, take the camera and a few objects and play the whole day along all the conversations we had in the background.

Shot on a wet day in Cramond beach, the footage contains images of wonde, which with time this film may prove that it would remain always unfinished. But always changing to reflect my present interest with the moving image.
